Church History
Church History
NOW FAITH MINISTRIES CHURCH was conceived in 2004 when our founder, Pastor Dr. Arlene E. Henry, Th.D., was diagnosed with breast cancer. However, our church was birthed forth and established in 2010 after she heard from the Lord to start a Saturday evening prayer and Bible study class.
This mission was later confirmed when Sis. Diane Alston said to Evangelist Henry that she wanted to attend her Saturday evening classes, because she wanted to learn more about the Bible. Sis. Alston worked second shift and at that time was unable to attend her church’s Wednesday night Bible study.
Evangelist Henry prayerfully sought the Lord again on how to go about the mission, and without hesitation, she began to move on the plans as the Lord guided her.
Pastor Dr. Arlene E. Henry , Th.D. was led to give up an apartment that she was previously renting to begin her prayer and Bible classes at 552 Winthrop Ave, New Haven, Connecticut, which is now the location of NOW FAITH MINISTRIES CHURCH Our church has been operating since September 4, 2016.
NOW FAITH MINISTRIES CHURCH has grown tremendously as an outreach ministry over the past 6 years and continues to do so by the grace of God.

“And he gave some apostles, and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
